Sydney Opera House3 Great Ways to See the Sydney Opera House

When in Sydney, Australia, one of the most iconic landmarks visitors are drawn to is the Sydney Opera House.  With its magnificient archtectural design, it draws more than 7 million visitors a year.  The name is deceiving because it is actually houses several performing arts companies. The main four are Oprea Australia, The Australian Ballet, Sydney Theatre Company and Sydney Sympony Orchestra.

The Sydney Opera House is easliy view from many vantages points in Sydney. One of my favorites being a Captain Cook Harbour cruise.  For a true experience, one must try one of the three main tour types

  • The Sydney Opera House Tour-Discover the history and magic and stories of this great building

  • The Backstage Tour-Be granted exclusive access, plus get to hear all the real life drama that goes on behind the curtain.

  • The Tour and Tasting Plate-Combines the Sydney tour with a 3 course tasting plate from the opera house kitchen.  A client favorite.

For more information on any of these tours, visit Sydney Opera House Tours.  Any of these can be added to your stay in Sydney via your travel professional.
